WA Orienteering School Team
Sadly COVID-19 has meant that there is no National Schools Championship event this year but this means plenty of time to train ready for the event to be run in Tasmania in 2021.
Junior Training Camp
The yearly training camp takes place in the July school holidays for our junior members, and is run by our accredited coaches.
This year's camp will be held 4th-6th July at Swan Valley Adventure Centre.
As the camp is less than a month away, the registration form needs to be completed and returned to Rob West, Coaching Convenor, before 15th June.
In addition, children need to be registered for the event through Eventor.
We provide for a wide range of orienteering abilities.
The camp is suitable for young people who enjoy orienteering, want to learn more about it and have a fun time with other young people.
The camp is open to orienteers aged from 10 to 17 years who have participated in at least one bush event or NavDash event in addition to any school events.
To attend the camp you need to be a member of Orienteering WA.
You'll find a review of the 2019 camp in the July Edition of O Xpress (page 12) and plenty of photos on our Facebook page.
